Here is a very brief recap of the prophets’ stories. God is still looking after the People of Israel, hoping they will love and obey Him. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has not given up on His people. The next few weeks will be about their return to their homeland and also a story about one family that stayed behind. So many people in our world today are living far from their homes as a result of war or famine or other disasters. Give thanks for the home you are sheltered in. Stay safe and stay well. And Happy Mother’s day to all the moms out there!
